Nano and Pico Second Pulse Durations
Cutera’s Enlighten III Laser features two different pulse durations: Long (2n) and Short (750/660p).

INSTRUCTION FOR PRE AND POST TREATMENT
Pre-Treatment
Avoid NSAIDS/ Blood thinners 1 week prior to treatment. Pre-treatment with HQ or retinol skin care is highly recommended for skin type 3-6.If a patient has a history of Herpes Simplex, the patient will be prescribed antiviral medication. Ensure the treatment area is shaved 2 days prior to treatment. Skin may burn if hair is present. Ensure the treatment area is cleaned with non-alcoholic cleansers and pat it dry before treatment. Treatment area must be free of make-up and lotions.
Post-Treatment
Redness and mild erythema is expected. Apply mineral sunscreen. Avoid oil-based products immediately after tx as they may trap heat to the tissues. Redness and bumps may occur 24-48 hrs post treatment and will subside over time. Keep skin moisturized. Keep skin cool, apply cold compress off/on for the first 24 hrs, especially to melasma areas.
