What To Expect Before TruSculpt iD
The first step of this body transformation begins with an initial consultation with Dr. Jetty or one of our specialists here at Princeton Aesthetics. Your current medical history will be reviewed as well as any desired treatment areas to determine if you’re a good candidate for this treatment. TruSculpt iD is not a suitable option for women who are pregnant, those who may have tumors in the treatment areas, those embedded with cardiac pacemakers or metal implants of any kind.
Once your first session is scheduled, your specialist will discuss any pretreatment preparations necessary. Since TruSculpt iD utilizes radiofrequency energy, you may be asked to remove any body piercings or jewelry prior to treatment.
What To Expect During And After Treatment
As your treatment begins, your specialist applies the TruSculpt iD handpiece directly to the skin of the targeted area(s). The handpiece delivers pulses of focused radiofrequency energy to the tissue beneath the skin, with each pulse lasting approximately several minutes. You may feel a deep warming sensation, but it can be adjusted to accommodate your comfort level. No topical anesthetic is necessary, and the process is virtually painless.
Following your treatment, you may be able to resume your regular activities as normal. The process of breaking down the fat beneath the superficial layer of skin has begun, and you can see results between approximately 1-3 months. Larger treatment areas may require more than one treatment, spaced out over the course of several months apart. However, most areas are typically slimmed down with a single treatment. It’s important to keep in mind that results will vary from person to person.
