How Does TruSculpt iD Work?

Losing weight takes time. Changes in diet and exercise routines take months to work, but they eventually get results. However, fat cells often stubbornly hang on in certain areas, particularly the belly, buttocks, thighs and neck. Now there is a way to melt the fat cells away from these resistant areas. Princeton Aesthetics in Princeton Junction, NJ uses TruSculpt iD treatment to melt fat away with no surgery or downtime.

How Does TruSculpt iD Work?

This cutting-edge procedure eliminates adipose tissue from areas where fat tends to stubbornly hang on despite good dietary habits and vigorous exercise routines. Often, despite months or years of effort to lose weight, we see results on the bathroom scale but fat cells remain in certain parts of the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck or other areas. These sections of the body have a natural tendency to hang on to fat cells, often leading to years of frustration at eliminating unwanted bulges.

TruSculp iD ranks as one of the top proven treatments for destroying fat cells, and it is effective regardless of body type. It works through the utilization of non-invasive radiofrequency technology. Your healthcare provider targets the radio frequencies at the area that is retaining too much fat. The radio frequencies provide deep heat to the area, causing the fat cells to break down while not affecting other body tissues.

After the treatment, the body naturally eliminates the dead fat cells. As a result, over the weeks and months following the treatment, clients see fat-loss results that continually improve. Because the fat cells are eliminated, the weight loss is permanent, provided clients prevent new fat cell formation through healthy dietary and exercise habits.

TruSculpt iD Naturally Tightens Skin

One of the big disadvantages of many rapid weight loss treatments is loose skin. Because fat disappears from the body rapidly, the skin has no time to adjust to the thinner body. As a result, areas that carry large amounts of fat, such as the waistline or neck, are left with loose, overhanging skin. Loose skin is a frequent unwanted side effect of liposuction.

Clients who opt for radiofrequency sculpting need not worry about loose skin. As the fat cells break down, the skin tightens, so you are left with no unsightly skin that may require additional cosmetic procedures. Instead, you lose the fat while retaining the smooth and youthful appearance of your skin!

Radio Frequency Treatment

If you have dieted, followed the latest fat-busting exercise routines, cut your sugar and fat intake below recommended levels, and still struggle with stubborn fat clinging to your belly or other areas, it’s time to schedule a consultation with Princeton Aesthetics. Our specialists will review your case and use medical weight loss protocols to determine the cause behind your weight gain.

This diagnosis allows us to recommend the most effective treatment for each individual. Decisions about suitability for treatment involve an analysis of medical history and examination of the area where unwanted fat remains.

Treatment Day

Radiofrequency fat removal is performed on an outpatient basis. The treatment, including preparation, is completed in a little more than an hour. Because the process is pain-free, no anesthetic is required.

Using TruSculpt

During the treatment, your healthcare provider uses the TruSculpt iD handpiece to apply the radio frequencies directly to the desired area. The radiofrequency pulses painlessly penetrate the skin and deliver energy to the tissue beneath. Each pulse lasts for several minutes.

Clients feel a pleasant warming sensation. The level of heat can be adjusted according to the clients’ comfort level. Once the session is complete, clients can get back on their feet almost right away.

Afterward

In most cases, clients can resume normal activities right away. Over the following one to three months, their bodies break down the fat, and they see the progress regularly both in the mirror and on the bathroom scale. Most treatment areas require just one procedure; however, large areas, such as the entire abdomen, many require multiple treatments.

Within just a few months, you will have the aesthetic look you’ve been dreaming about. Radiofrequency fat loss therapy is one of the best options for many patients, but if TruSculpt isn’t the right treatment for you, we can also offer EMSCULPT.

What Is EMSCULPT?

EMSCULPT uses electromagnetic pulses to painlessly penetrate the skin and sculpt the tissue underneath. EMSCULPT is recommended for those who have tried diet and exercise but gotten disappointing results for those regions.

So many of us work hard and succeed in losing weight, but stubborn fat cells continue to occupy our waistline, creating the hated “spare tire”. Fat also likes to hang in the buttocks, preventing us from attaining the shape and tone we desire, often despite trying every exercise known to mankind. EMSCULPT was developed specifically to address these concerns. EMSCULPT puts the finishing touches on your weight loss and body sculpting efforts.

How EMSCULPT Works

The process starts with a consultation where your healthcare provider will determine if EMSCULPT is the right option for you. If EMSCULPT is chosen as your best treatment option, then you can be scheduled for an EMSCULP session, which is performed on an outpatient basis. The process, including preparation, takes little more than an hour.

Treatment Process

During the treatment, your EMSCULPT healthcare provider uses the EMSCULP handpiece to deliver electromagnetic pulses that stimulate supramaximal muscle contractions. The body’s natural response to the stimulation is to reconfigure the internal muscular structure. The result is the reduction of clinging fat and increased definition of the abdominal or buttock muscles.

Afterward

Because EMSCULPT is noninvasive, there is no downtime. You can continue normal activities right away. Over the following weeks and months, you will see the results take place as your body slims and tones the treated area. Fat cells are naturally eliminated by the body and replaced by toned muscle. Many clients need just one session, though some need multiple sessions to eliminate large amounts of fat or tone large areas.

Keeping the Weight Off for Good

One of the great things about TruSculpt iD is that the fat cells are permanently eliminated. This means no worries about the fat returning, as it so often does for people who rely on crash diets. Crash diets don’t work because they put the body in starvation mode, which actually induces the body to hold on to those fat cells rather than eliminating them. With TruSculpt iD, the fat says off provided you do not put on new fat.

To avoid new fat, a sensible diet and exercise program is needed. A regular exercise program boosts metabolism and increases muscle tone, helping to prevent new fat cell formation. Here are some tips for keeping those fat cells from forming again.

Diet

In today’s world of processed foods, it’s more important than ever to track calories to make sure you don’t accidentally eat too many high-calorie foods. This happens easily when you eat processed foods, which often advertise themselves as “low fat.” To compensate, sugar and refined carbohydrates are often substituted.

Good quality fat and protein keep you feeling sated, which prevents hunger. When you eat empty refined carbs instead, you feel dissatisfied. Worse, many people then binge on high-calorie foods while their bodies are in starvation mode, leading to more fat cells.

GI

Calories are not everything. Weight is also affected by the glycemic index (GI) of the foods we eat. High GI foods release their sugar content into the blood very quickly, causing the all too familiar “sugar rush.” To control blood sugar levels, the body responds by releasing insulin, which causes all the extra glucose to be stored as fat.

Low GI foods release their sugar slowly. As a result, sugar is never released in a rush that causes high insulin levels and subsequent fat storage. For these reasons, choosing low GI foods and keeping daily sugar intake below recommended levels is a key part of preventing the formation of new fat.

Increased Protein Intake

To keep weight off, it’s important to eat a proper balance of proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats. All are essential to health, but many people overindulge in high-carbohydrate foods, which causes weight gain. Reducing carbs and increasing protein helps prevent weight gain for several reasons.

Ounce for ounce, protein packs in fewer calories than carbohydrates. It also triggers the body’s satiety response, reducing hunger and the temptation to eat between meals. A diet of too many carbs often leaves us feeling hungry again just a few hours after eating, and this contributes to overeating and regaining fat. Small quantities of protein often stop hunger pangs.

In addition, protein is a key building block of muscle. A higher muscle content increases metabolism, helping keep weight gain at bay.

Avoiding Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are often the bane of the modern American diet. The most common carb you’re likely to run into is highly refined (think white and light as opposed to whole grain) and has a high GI index. Minimize carbohydrates entirely by making them a side to quality protein, fat, and vegetables instead of the main course. When you do eat them, stick to complex carbs like sweet potatoes, whole grains, and root vegetables.

Exercise Schedule for Weight Loss

Some of us love to exercise, while for others it is a chore. For those who are not exercise enthusiasts, the good news is that maintaining a healthy weight doesn’t require spending hours at the gym, biking everywhere you go or running a marathon. An exercise program should incorporate at least 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise per week. It’s important to be consistent so that the body remains accustomed to the exercise routine.

Weight training can also help prevent the formation of new fat. By building muscle tone, we increase metabolism and stimulate the body to produce muscle instead of fat!

The Time Is Now

No one ever benefitted from delaying a weight loss program. In fact, waiting usually means increased weight, resulting in a more difficult struggle to lose those extra pounds. It’s easy to start today. By exercising regularly, counting calories and limiting the intake of fat and sugar, you can start melting away those fat cells now.

However, often diet and exercise alone are insufficient to banish those fat cells from certain areas, particularly the abdomen, buttocks, thighs and neck. TruSculp iD provides the solution. It uses radiofrequency pulses to kill fat cells. After a short TruSculpt session, clients lose fat cells in the treated region naturally over the following weeks and months, all with no downtime.

If you are struggling to lose weight in a certain area, call Princeton Athletics in Princeton Junction, NJ to schedule a consultation and get the results you need.

How Does Emsculpt Tone and Contour Your Body at the Same Time?

Millions of Americans suffer from stubborn pockets of body fat. Sometimes, no matter how many carbs we cut or how many times we hit the gym, we just can’t quite get rid of these problem areas. If that sounds like you, it’s time to stop despairing. This is where body contouring treatments come in: these popular techniques use recent technology to melt away fat almost like magic. One of the most popular forms of body contouring, and one offered by us at Princeton Aesthetics in Princeton Junction, NJ, is called EmSculpt.

EmSculpt is unique among body contouring treatments because it can not only melt away fat, but also tone muscle at the same time. It can flatten out a belly, firm and round a behind, or make thighs more muscular than ever, all with just a few quick, painless, half-hour treatments. This might sound impossible, but it’s all down to this treatment’s unique technology. In this article, we’ll tell you all about how this exciting body contouring technique works and help you determine whether it’s the right solution for you.

What Is EmSculpt?

When you hear the phrase “quick fix,” your mind might automatically associate it with another word: scam. We’ve all seen those late-night commercials for various fast fixes for belly fat. But this treatment is the real deal, and it’s backed by FDA approval.

EmSculpt is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment that uses electromagnetic technology to both eliminate fat cells and strengthen muscles in the area of treatment. It’s usually used on the belly, butt, and thighs, although it can be used elsewhere on the body. In order to understand how it works, we first have to explore how fat in the human body works.

The Science Behind Body Fat

Body fat is stored in fat cells. You might think that losing weight would cause you to lose fat cells while gaining weight would cause you to gain fat cells. Surprisingly that’s not how it works. In fact, the number of fat cells in the body remains more or less constant after adolescence. Once we’re grown up, our body doesn’t make new fat cells unless we’re gaining weight at a rapid rate.

Instead, fat cells shrink or expand depending on how much fat they have to store. If we gain weight, our bodies will store nutrients in the form of fat in these fat cells and they’ll expand. If we lose weight, our bodies will break down the fat stored in those cells and use its nutrients. In other words, you might be in tip-top shape, but unless you’re doing extreme workouts those fat cells aren’t going anywhere. That’s why most people have stubborn pockets of fat that fail to respond to diet and exercise.

In order to get rid of stubborn fat on the belly, butt, thighs, and other areas once and for all, we have to kill the fat cells. That’s where EmSculpt comes in.

How Does It Work?

EmSculpt uses a device that emits electromagnetic pulses, which trigger something called “supramaximal contractions,” meaning they are impossible to achieve using voluntary muscle contractions. In fact, the “E” and “M” in the name refer to the electromagnetic technology in this treatment. This technology forces the muscles in the treated area to do 20,000 contractions in just a half-hour; far more than you could achieve on your own. This would be like doing 20,000 situps in the same amount of time.

These extreme contractions force the body to adapt. It does so in much the same way it adapts to exercise but in an accelerated fashion. The muscle tissue restructures itself, making it stronger and more toned. As it does, it releases enzymes that tell the body to break down fat in the surrounding area. Your body needs that fat to keep up with the contractions, and it needs a lot of it quickly. That’s why these enzymes don’t just use fat: they break the fat cells down entirely.

That’s right: those fat cells we talked about above that are so hard to get rid of? This treatment forces your body to kill them outright. Once those cells are destroyed, the body will process them over time, flushing them out and leaving the treated area more toned and muscular than ever. One study found a 23% reduction in fat in the treated area three months post-treatment, and a 15% increase in abdominal muscle after two months. Results can continue to develop and improve over the course of six months.

The EmSculpt Treatment

What Is It Like?

This treatment is basically a superhuman workout for the treated area, and it largely feels like that – except you’re lying down and relaxing the entire time. If your abdominal area is the spot undergoing treatment, here’s how it works: the applicator rests on your belly and cycles through its program. This involves two modes of intensity: one that contracts the muscles a hundred times every couple seconds, and one that contracts them a thousand times every couple seconds. A third phase causes the muscles to contract slowly and deliberately.

People who undergo this treatment describe it largely as odd. Your body isn’t built to contract its muscles like this, so while it’s not dangerous in any way, it will certainly feel unnatural. Your muscles might be a little sore post-treatment, just as they would after a strenuous workout, but that’s the worst side effect you can expect.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

Each treatment lasts a half-hour, and it’s recommended each patient undergo four treatments over a two-week period, spaced a few days apart each. Each of these treatments lasts the requisite thirty minutes, which means you’ll be able to get a flatter, more muscular tummy in just two hours spaced over two weeks. With zero recovery downtime, you could even get these treatments over your lunch break and head right back to work, with no one the wiser!

In the end, the number of treatments you need is down to what kind of results you want to see and how many sessions it takes to achieve those results. To find out, talk to one of our professionals at Princeton Aesthetics.

How Long Until I See Results?

As mentioned above, it can take some time for your results to fully manifest. That’s because it takes time for your body to process and remove the dead fat cells and because your abdominal muscles are undergoing a deep restructuring. Some people will see their results continue to improve up to six months after their last treatment. As the body removes the fat cells and the muscles grow stronger, the treated area will grow firmer. If it’s your belly, you’ll see it flatten out over time, and you won’t have to do a thing but stick to your normal diet and exercise routine.

Are the Results Permanent?

How long your results last will depend largely on how active your lifestyle is. As we talked about above, four treatments will reduce the fat cells in the treated area by roughly 23% over three months; that means there are plenty of fat cells left that could expand if left unchecked. If you maintain a good diet and exercise regimen, there’s no reason to expect your results to disappear anytime soon.

Some people, however, choose to undergo EmSculpt more than once, returning for regular maintenance treatments. If the muscles that are treated aren’t worked out regularly, they won’t be maintained, so some people go back for additional treatment rather than adding an exercise regimen to their routine. These treatments, however, are far less frequent than the initial treatment. Maintenance can be done as frequently as once a month to as infrequently as once a year.

What Makes a Good Candidate for EmSculpt?

This treatment might be the rare quick-fix miracle, but it’s not a fix for everyone. Generally, the treatment won’t be administered to people under 21 years of age, for example. Women who are pregnant or think they may be pregnant should inform their practitioner during their consultation, as it may affect their candidacy. Here are some other ways to know if this treatment is right for you:

You Are Already in Good Shape

It’s important to note with body contouring treatments like this that they are not cures for obesity, nor are they weight loss treatments. They are purely cosmetic in nature, intended to provide aesthetic results that make the patient more comfortable in their own skin. That means that this treatment is best suited for people who are in decent shape and already at or near their ideal body weight.

You Are Physically Active

As we discussed above, this treatment kills plenty of fat cells but not all of them. That means that there’s always potential for the fat cells remaining in the treated area to expand again, covering up the results of the treatment. If you don’t currently exercise and eat well, you’ll risk your results disappearing over time. If you are physically active and maintain a healthy diet though, you can expect your results to stick with you for as long as you keep your health-focused lifestyle.

You Have Ruled Out Surgical Options

Invasive surgical procedures like liposuction have their time and place, but they come with a lot of caveats, including a high price tag and plenty of downtime. If you already know that a surgical body contouring option is not right for you, this treatment might be a great option. There are other body contouring treatments out there, but this one is the most painless, and it’s the only one that strengthens and tones muscle at the same time that it burns fat.

You Are Sick of Stubborn Body Fat

Pockets of body fat are perfectly normal and natural. Most people don’t look like Hollywood celebrities, and that’s okay. If, however, you are frustrated with your body fat and have been trying to rid yourself of it through diet and exercise to no avail, this treatment could provide you with the change you’ve been striving for.

Conclusion

This FDA-approved treatment seems almost too good to be true, but professionals and patients alike all over the country are embracing it. Unlike liposuction, it’s non-invasive and requires zero downtime. You can get a treatment over your lunch break and be back at work in no time. In just a few short weeks, the stubborn body fat you’ve been trying to get rid of for years will melt away, leaving tones muscle behind, all thanks to this stunning technological innovation.

If this sounds like the fix you’ve been looking for, give Princeton Aesthetics in Princeton, NJ a call and set up a consultation to learn more.

Laser Tattoo Removal: How Long Does the Process Take?

Every tattoo seems like a good idea in the moment, but we are delightfully fickle creatures. Our opinions and attitudes often change with time, and tattoos serve as a reminder of the past. This reminder is one that many people don’t want. If the inked imagery or words you once loved no longer fit the person you’ve become, laser tattoo removal is the solution. At Princeton Aesthetics in Princeton Junction, NJ, we offer industry-leading technology to remove unwanted tattoos.

What Is Laser Tattoo Removal?

Laser tattoo removal is the process of extracting tattoo ink from the skin to reveal the clear and natural skin underneath. A significant portion of the US population has at least one tattoo, and later many people end up regretting their decision.

Instead of living a life of regret, many people are turning to laser technology to remove the memories for good.

Why Do People Get Tattoos Removed?

People remove tattoos for a variety of reasons that usually align with the reason they got the tattoo in the first place. Some people commemorate certain times, people, and beliefs with tattoos. Other people get tattoos on a whim without putting too much thought into it.

Change is one of the beautiful things about being human; we change, and at least in the context of tattoos, we have option to change the outside to reflect the inside. Below we look at some of the most common reasons people decide to remove a tattoo.

Change of Heart

Although slightly less common now, it was once fashionable to tattoo a love interest’s name or other symbolic representation of the romance on the body. After a breakup, this once sweet gesture can turn sour and require tattoo removal to remedy.

Shifting Values

What we want at 18 is often very different from what we want by middle age. Beliefs may change in the realms of religion or affiliations or general attitude. All these changes can make tattoos undesirable. These tattoos, along with those of the offensive variety, are some of the most commonly removed tattoos.

Business Casual

No matter how common tattoos become, there are still many work environments that don’t view tattoos favorably. Some people with visible tattoos struggle to find work and others want to remove tattoos to achieve a greater sense of professionalism.

Aesthetic Dilemma

Tattoo techniques have improved over the years, but some older tattoos haven’t aged well. Sometimes people get a tattoo that doesn’t turn out as they wanted. Misspellings or a subpar tattooing technique can result in people turning to tattoo removal for help.

Time Travel

Tattoos often serve as a reminder of specific times, places, people, and feelings that many people would just as soon forget. People who are fed up with the constant reminders scribbled on their skin find freedom from the tattoo removal process.

Removing a tattoo is a liberating experience no matter why you want it gone. Below we look at the laser tattoo removal service we offer our clients at Princeton Aesthetics.

Which Laser Technology Is Used?

Scientists created impeccable laser tattoo removal technology in response to the growing number of people who want to remove tattoos. At Princeton Aesthetics, we use only the most advanced Cutera technology to clear and rejuvenate skin. We use the world’s leading Enlighten laser for safe, fast, and effective tattoo removal.

About Cutera Enlighten

Enlighten by Cutera is the premier tattoo removal system that uses short pulses in three laser wavelengths to break pigment into microscopic particles. Tattoos are no match for the powerful Enlighten laser, which has the power to rid the skin of all ink colors and ink particle sizes.

As one of the most renowned names in aesthetic technology, this system safely and effectively removes tattoo pigmentation and benign skin pigmentation.

How Does Cutera Enlighten Work?

This one-of-a-kind non-thermal laser uses photo-mechanical power to target cell pigmentation and shatter it while leaving the surrounding cells and tissue untouched. During your session, we direct the laser to the tattoo, and it penetrates the skin with a light beam.

When this beam of light interacts with the ink, it breaks the ink down into tiny, fragmented particles. As the ink particles break down, the inked lines and colors break up. Clear, tattoo-free skin appears after repeated sessions and repeated exposure to the particle blasting laser.

This technology works with the size of the ink particles. We use nanosecond pulses to break up large ink particles, and picosecond pulses to remove the particles altogether. While the laser rids the skin of pigmentation, it’s also working double-time to deliver deep skin restructuring. Removing unwanted tattoos with Cutera Enlighten reveals gorgeously clear skin where your ink once was.

No other tattoo removal laser offers the precision results of the Cutera Enlighten. Along with most other experts, we consider it the safest, fastest, and most effective laser for removing tattoos and correcting melasma and other skin pigmentation issues.

What Makes Enlighten Better Than Other Tattoo Removing Lasers?

What makes Enlighten different is that it uses both nanosecond and picosecond pulses. Most other lasers only use nanosecond pulses, which doesn’t remove ink particles as efficiently. Enlighten’s picosecond technology removes more ink particles in fewer treatments than alternative lasers.

How Long Is a Session?

Getting a tattoo is often a long process that can last anywhere from a few minutes to multiple hours. The removal process doesn’t work this way. Tattoo removal sessions can last anywhere from five to thirty minutes, depending on the size of the tattoo.

If you are visiting us to remove multiple tattoos, your sessions are longer than when removing only one. However, they are still often much shorter than the time to get the tattoo.

Can a Tattoo Be Removed in One Session?

Deciding to remove a tattoo is exciting. If you are like many of our clients, you are eager to see your new clear skin, fast. Unlike the immediate results given when getting a tattoo, though, tattoo removal is a process that happens over time.

Depending on the size, coloration, depth, and age of your tattoo, the effects of the laser may not be as noticeable as you expect after one session. How prominent the results are will depend on the tattoo. Hearing this news is often disappointing to clients, but the sooner you start your treatment, the faster you’ll see the results you want.

One way to track treatment progress is to photograph your tattoo before and after each treatment and again a few weeks later. This gives you a visual record of how the laser removal process is working. One treatment may be sufficient for your removal needs, but it may take more than one treatment to reach your aesthetic goals.

Are Some Tattoos More Difficult to Remove Than Others?

Really dark and deep tattoos are more difficult to remove than lighter tattoos. We can still remove them, but they often take on a blurry shape before fading. Different colors respond better to different laser pulses, and that’s one reason we use the Cutera Enlighten technology.

How Long Does the Process Take?

How long the process takes depends on the client and the tattoo or tattoos scheduled for removal. Each of our clients has different needs, and we cater to these needs on an individual basis.

The best way to find out how long the process takes is to schedule an in-person consultation with us. During your consultation, our experts will assess your skin and tattoos to give you more detailed information about the process. We tailor your treatment plan to provide the best results possible.

In general, clients need at least three to six sessions to remove each tattoo. After every session, you must allow the area to heal for at least before receiving another session. With these numbers in mind, it takes a minimum of 12 to 24 weeks, on average, to remove a tattoo. Clients with larger tattoos, more tattoos, or special ink may expect an extended treatment duration.

This is just an average, and you may see results in fewer treatments. All tattoos respond slightly differently to laser technology. Schedule your consultation today to learn more about how our laser removal treatment for tattoos can serve you.

What Happens After Each Session?

Similarly to what happens after getting a tattoo, we dress the area with a bandage and give you instructions on how to protect the area in the coming days. You might have some familiar itching on the area when it heals.

Is There Any Way to Speed Up Tattoo Removal?

Unless you are a smoker, there isn’t much you can do to remove your tattoo faster. Smoking actually increases the likelihood of needing more treatments to remove tattoos and increases the time required for healing. If you are a smoker who wants to remove a tattoo, quitting could speed up the removal process substantially.

What Else Do I Need to Know?

Throughout your tattoo removal treatment process, you must take measures to protect the area from the sun by keeping it covered with clothing or using a high-quality sunblock. We recommend that you avoid swimming, long baths, or any prolonged submersion in water during tattoo removal treatment. When towel drying, pat the area dry instead of rubbing it to maintain the best treatment results.

Is There Any Downtime?

Because we use state-of-the-art Cutera Enlighten technology instead of traditional ablative therapies, you won’t experience much, if any, downtime after treatment.

How Much Does Laser Tattoo Removal Cost?

Much like getting a tattoo, pricing for laser treatment depends on the size and intricacy of the tattoo. Someone with a small and simple tattoo will pay less than someone who wants to remove a sleeve. Book a consultation with our tattoo removal experts to learn more about pricing.

Is Laser Tattoo Removal Right for Me?

This treatment is right for anyone who, for any reason, wants to remove a tattoo. Having regrets about getting your tattoo is normal, and many people are in the same position as you. We treat clients of all ages, genders, and circumstances to help them leave the past behind.

We are unable to treat pregnant or nursing women and individuals with bacterial infections or open wounds on or around the treatment site. We kindly ask these individuals to wait to book treatment until these factors are no longer relevant.

In order to understand why truSculpt iD works, it helps to know why fat can be so stubborn in the first place. How truSculpt iD Can Help

This innovative body contouring treatment uses focused radiofrequency energy in order to heat the adipose tissue in the treatment area. This ultimately breaks down the fat and tightens the skin, leading to a better appearance overall. The results tend to develop in the months following the treatment. This helps the changes to look natural, as your friends and family members may simply think that your diet and exercise efforts are finally starting to pay off.

What are the Benefits?

The truSculpt iD treatment methods comes with a number of benefits, including:

Get the Best of Both Worlds with Body Contouring and Skin Revitalization

Non-surgical body contouring and skin revitalization procedures have not always been so popular, largely because they are so new. Plus, in recent years, the stigma formerly associated with cosmetic procedures has faded, and more and more men and women are increasingly able to take advantage of procedures to enhance their appearance without any concern for negative feedback or side effects. If you need some toning and contouring, you may wish to consider undergoing a body contouring and/or skin revitalization procedure to enhance your appearance and boost your self-esteem.

What is Skin Revitalization?

Skin revitalization helps to address discoloration on the skin. Skin discoloration can be caused by a number of factors, including thinning skin, sun damage, loss of subcutaneous fat, heredity, smoking, and stress. With the right skin revitalization procedure, natural skin tone can be improved or restored. This leads to a better appearance overall.

What About Body Contouring?

Even though you may be exercising and dieting correctly, your abdomen may prove the most challenging area to tone. Perhaps you are dealing with a stubborn backside as well. Extreme weight fluctuations or the aging process can really take a toll on the muscles and skin in your abdominal and buttocks areas, causing them to retain excess fat. No matter what has caused this condition, sometimes no amount of core exercises or green smoothies can help you achieve the results that you are looking for.

The Rising Popularity of Body Sculpting

EMSCULPT has quickly become one of the most popular body sculpting procedures, and it’s no wonder why people like it so much. This innovative procedure addresses unwanted fat in those difficult areas while also enhancing muscle definition. People who are using the body sculpting treatment are toning trouble zones and gaining confidence and self-esteem. EMSCULPT is now popular with those who have tried dieting and exercising, but can’t seem to lose the last bit of fat and tone their bodies to their liking.

The process is very simple while experiencing no downtime. After your appointment, you are free to go right back to work or your regular activities. The first results will be seen in as little as weeks as the fat is expelled from the body. This helps the results to look natural and subtle, as if your diet and exercise efforts are finally starting to pay off.

Who is a Candidate?

EMSCULPT is designed to help men and women get rid of unwanted stubborn bulges and see more muscle tone in these areas: the abdomen and the buttocks. The process is easy and effective and begins with a consultation with a qualified professional.

Here are some of the questions that may be discussed with the client during the body sculpting consultation:

  1. What is your medical history?
  2. Have you had any previous treatments?
  3. Together, you will discuss the areas you’d like to be contoured and the possibilities. Two areas may be treated on the same visit, depending on the situation and the needs of the individual.

The consultation is as easy as that! Of course, these are just a few of the things that may be discussed. If you are ready to have the EMSCULPT procedure, you could have the procedure that same day and return to your day with no downtime. Since the process is non-invasive, there’ll be no stitches or other side effects on the skin, such as rashes or marks. You can wear the same clothes you wore into the office.

Turn Your Life Around with Tattoo Removal

A tattoo can be a statement piece for many reasons including showing others something that you like or honoring the memory of a loved one. Sometimes, you might think that you want a certain design on your body and then find that you wish that you hadn’t made the decision to get the tattoo. Fortunately, tattoo removal at Precision MD can help to turn your life around.

When you have a tattoo removed, it’s usually done by using a laser. This is beneficial in that it can target the specific area where the tattoo is located instead of possibly damaging the skin around the design. There’s usually no reason for any kind of invasive removal, which means less scarring.

The resources that your body already has are used during the tattoo removal process. When the laser is used to remove the tattoo, the pressure waves are then absorbed by the body in order to send it into a healing state. There are new lasers that are being used that target various colors, oftentimes decreasing the number of appointments that you would need to have in order to complete the process of tattoo removal.

When you have a tattoo removed using lasers, the comfort level is usually comparable to the original process. Keep in mind that newer lasers decrease irritation and aren’t quite as uncomfortable as those that are older. Since the laser targets areas of ink, the process is usually completed faster than other methods of removal, which means that you can begin wearing the clothes that you want while being comfortable in your own skin sooner than if other removal processes were performed. Do keep in mind, however, that a series of treatments is usually required for optimal results to be achieved.

For more details about how your life can turn around with tattoo removal, set up a time to visit Princeton Aesthetics so that you can learn about the procedure and what it involves. We would be more than happy to evaluate your case and determine if laser tattoo removal can work for you.

What Can EMSCULPT in Princeton Do?

Some people seem to naturally build lean muscle with absolutely no effort at all. If you pay attention to those around you in the gym, you’ll find that the same training methods and the same amount of effort can produce dramatically different results from person to person. EMSCULPT is an amazing new technology that has helped to level the playing field. With this treatment, Princeton locals can achieve the tight, toned, and highly defined muscles that they’ve always wanted, and without having to undergo surgery. This is the perfect procedure for anyone with a frustrating trouble zone that’s proven consistently unresponsive to even the most targeted of toning exercises.

What EMSCULPT is and How It Works

When you build muscle naturally by lifting weights and by performing other challenging forms of exercise, you’re essentially creating countless micro-tears in your soft tissues. The natural response of the body to these exertion-related movements is to quickly rebuild the muscle while adding additional muscle tissue. The constant tearing down and rebuilding of existing tissues is how stronger and larger muscles are made. The voluntary contraction that you make while working out is the natural method of inducing new muscle development. In fact, in the past, it was the only way. Now, however, supramaximal contractions can be induced in targeted areas through the application of high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology. This technology forces the muscles to rapidly contract without any conscious effort on the patient’s part.

During treatment, the EMSCULPT appliance is placed directly on top of the targeted area to incite vigorous and rapid toning. The treatment process feels similar to a grueling workout, even though you’ll be relaxing in a comfortable position. As the muscles throughout the treatment area vigorously contract, local fat cells will be broken down and used for fuel. This leaves the treatment area both more toned and thinner-looking. In this way, EMSCULPT incites both new muscle development and ultra-rapid fat loss.

How EMSCULPT Can Help You Eliminate Your Unwanted Fat Stores

The super-fast and super-intense contractions that EMSCULPT incites cause nearby fat cells to be quickly metabolized. Fat loss with this treatment, however, is the result of both immediate and extended reactions from your body. While this rigorous activity will definitely help streamline the physique in the short-term, the rapid formation of new muscle tissues will additionally change the patient’s ongoing calorie requirements. Ultimately, the more new muscle that your procedure helps you build, the more calories your body will require in order to successfully and effectively support this tissue. This makes it much easier for patients to create calorie deficits on their own, even as it both expedites and enhances all other elements of their current fitness plans.

This Procedure Can Help You Overcome the Natural Limitations of Diet and Exercise

Maintaining a healthy diet and performing routine exercises are key for ensuring ongoing levels of good health. Unfortunately, however, natural forms of fat loss do not make it possible for people to streamline their physiques, alter their physical proportions, or spot reduce fat across any of the most common trouble zones. If you lose 10 pounds of your body weight by creating a calorie deficit via portion reduction and cardio training, this loss will be evenly distributed across your entire body. The very uniform nature of natural fat loss means that even though you’ll grow smaller by dropping pounds, the general shape and proportions of your physique will invariably remain unchanged. This is problematic if you’ve got a stubborn midsection or a large and low-hanging derriere.

These are problems that people have used liposuction and fat freezing procedures to overcome in the past. These popular body sculpting treatments can selectively reduce the fat in targeted areas to achieve a more visually impressive body overall. Unfortunately, liposuction requires one or more incisions. It also entails actual tissue removal and involves considerable downtime. This treatment comes with the risk of scarring and infection, and it additionally makes it necessary for patients to take considerable time away from work. While fat freezing procedures are less disruptive in this respect, these treatments only eliminate unwanted fat stores. They do not have any toning or bulking effect on the muscles, and although fat freezing can certainly slim the treatment areas, it will not make them look more uplifted or toned.

EMSCULPT can overcome the body’s natural limitations in other ways as well. It is not possible to get the targeted and incredibly rapid toning that this treatment provides by exercising on your own. The super-fast contractions incited by HIFEM cannot be replicated by any natural movements that people are capable of making and repeating. It will take weeks or even months to achieve what EMSCULPT is capable of accomplishing in mere minutes. Best of all, the results of this procedure can be easily and safely maintained via regular ongoing treatments. Most people are able to preserve most or all of their new muscle gains by receiving maintenance treatments as needed.

EMSCULPT is Unlike Any Other Body Sculpting Procedure

This treatment is currently one of the safest and most natural ways to improve your muscle mass, increase your muscle definition and tone, and generate targeted fat loss. It greatly enhances the benefits of maintaining a balanced diet and a structured exercise regimen. More importantly, it does not entail any downtime, tissue removal, or incisions. There is no risk of scarring, no special aftercare, and no need to take extended periods of time off from work. You can look like you’ve worked for and earned the body of your dreams. In reality, however, your new muscles will be built for you while you relax and simply wait out the duration of your procedure. With that being said, the best results are achieved in conjunction with following a healthy diet and exercise plan.

How Many Procedures are Needed?

The number of treatments required generally depends upon the individual’s current physical condition and overall treatment goals. The location for targeted toning is worthy of consideration as well. Some areas of the body are slightly more responsive to the contractions that HIFEM induces. In most cases, it will take a series of procedures to see noticeable improvements in muscle mass and definition at the buttocks and across the abs.

Enjoy the Benefits of a Natural and Non-Invasive Butt Lift

In many circles, a round and lifted derriere is something to be desired. This is why an increasing number of people are paying for fat transfer procedures and other butt lift and butt enhancement surgeries that are designed to create a more curvaceous and voluptuous appearance. EMSCULPT is an amazingly effective, non-invasive alternative to traditional butt lift and enhancement surgeries. Instead of inserting implants, or making incisions and then repositioning existing fat, this treatment merely makes use of the natural structures and tissues that are already present. Through the application of advanced HIFEM technologies, the buttocks will rapidly become firmer and more toned. After a series of quick and easy treatments, you could look like you’ve spent countless hours in the gym, doing numberless lunges and squats while maintaining perfect form. You’ll get the outcome that you want without having to work yourself to the point of agony and exhaustion. Best of all, EMSCULPT treatments performed on the buttocks are sometimes able to eliminate excess fat as well.

How Long Do the Results of EMSCULPT Last?

The results of these procedures are not really permanent. In certain cases, patients can expect their newly gained muscle mass to begin decreasing within months, especially if they are not careful to live a healthy lifestyle. The same physical effort that’s responsible for creating these tissues must be exerted in order to maintain them. Without HIFEM technologies, this is impossible. This is because a single, 30-minute session with this appliance can be the equivalent of doing 20,000 squats or abdominal crunches in an equal amount of time. The good news is that it is safe to repeat this procedure as needed. By carefully planning your sessions and by maintaining a diligent workout routine in between them, you may be able to consistently maintain a ripped and lean look for years.

Who is a Good Candidate for These Treatments?

Like all other body sculpting procedures, EMSCULPT is not meant to take the place of a healthy diet and a regular exercise plan. Instead, it is intended to expedite and enhance the benefits of these essential fat loss and body sculpting activities. As such, the best candidates for this treatment are already at their ideal body weights or near them. Patients who maintain healthy life habits ahead of their procedures often get the best outcomes.

Is EMSCULPT the Right Body Sculpting Procedure for You?

Unlike other body sculpting procedures such as fat freezing and liposuction, EMSCULPT is not designed to directly target unwanted fat stores. This treatment neither freezes fat cells to the point of crystallization nor physically removes them. Instead, it is designed to simply enhance and improve the appearance of the physical features that already exist, and to expedite natural fat loss. By applying highly intense and highly targeted toning impulses to select muscle groups, this treatment can effectively streamline the physique and improve overall physical proportions. Princeton locals can use this treatment to elevate and tone the buttocks and slim and tone their abdomens.

To see what this treatment can do for you, book an appointment at Princeton Aesthetics in Princeton Junction, NJ. We would be more than happy to evaluate your case and tell you whether or not this treatment can help you achieve your goals for your figure. Contact us today to schedule your consultation!
